Seiko's Presage collection has become a showcase for the brand's artisanal side, blending traditional Japanese crafts with accessible mechanical watches. As the brand celebrates its 145th anniversary in 2026, two new Presage Classic Series limited editions reflect Seiko's ability to merge traditional artistry and industrial watchmaking through different aesthetics. The highlight is the Arita porcelain edition HCC007, featuring a deep cobalt blue glaze inspired by the historical 'Seiko Blue' tone developed in the 1960s. This model showcases Seiko's mastery of color and translucency, with a specially reinforced porcelain dial that offers tonal shifts as light moves across it. The watch is powered by the automatic calibre 6R51, offering a 72-hour power reserve, and presented in a newly designed case with a dual-curved sapphire crystal. The second anniversary model, HCC004, adopts a more restrained appearance with a delicate, woven-like texture and pristine white tone referencing shironeri, the pure white produced during silk refining. This watch features blue hands and markers inspired by Seiko Blue and is powered by the same 6R51 automatic calibre. Both models are limited editions, with HCC007 priced at EUR 1,800 and HCC004 at EUR 1,050, and will be available in July 2026. These new Presage Classic Series limited editions showcase Seiko's commitment to innovation and tradition, offering a unique blend of artistry and functionality that appeals to a global audience of watch enthusiasts.
